Darley Playing Fields Association (DPFA) maintains the playing field and children's playground in Darley, the DPFA also manages the shop lease, Post Office & café that are housed in the playing field pavilion.  The Nidd United U15 football team that play on the playing field use the changing room facilities housed in the pavilion.

The playing field is a community resource and is managed by a board of trustees who are all local volunteers.  The DPFA is a registered charity and all the activities and facilities that the DPFA maintains and provides are for the benefit of the local community and visitors to the local area.
